Hi, I'm Toni!! A little over a year ago, I decided to join a gym on a spur of the moment decision, then a few days later I found the "Calorie Counter by FatSecret" app in the Android Market on my phone...I've been using the 2 things pretty faithfully since then & have lost almost 100 lbs so far, and have gone from a size 22 to a size 8!! I'm within 10 lbs of reaching my final weight loss goal in this adventure--140 lbs... but when that goal is achieved (I say WHEN and not IF because if there's one thing the last year has taught me, it's that I WILL!!), I do intend on dropping my goal a little further. So, my actual final goal will be a healthy (and slim!) 130 lbs. I'm 36 & am now wearing smaller sizes than I ever have in my teenage or adult life. I've gone from being completely sedentary to exercising (and LOVING IT!!) at least 5 times a week. I'll be an FS member for as long as it (or I, lol!) exists--it's been such a valuable tool for me to help make sure I'm on track with my daily caloric intake & exercise, and having a whole community of people to share in successes with, help stay motivated & pick me up when I'm down is something I'll always want to have!

As far as working out goes, I LOOOOVE walking!! There are a lot of terrific parks near me that I like to use but I also enjoy doing power & incline walking on the treadmill at the gym. For strengthening & toning, resistance bands is where it's at for me--I love 'em!! Plus, I can do exercises with them while I watch my favorite shows, big bonus!

Some of my other interests include comic books (and reading in general...but mostly comic books, lol!), movies, podcasting, celebrity gossip, geocaching, camping, hiking, cooking...oh, and I'm a freelance makeup artist!
