I'm doing pretty well losing weight, but was feeling really down tonight and wanted to eat badly. I'm an emotional eater and every now and then, life gets me down and I just want to stuff my face. I hate feeling that way. Craving things that I know are bad for me. Foods that make me feel sick and gain weight. Hubby says I need to get to the root of the problem. Why do I want that food? Well, food makes me feel better. Eating the foods that I've always loved makes me happier. BUT they also make me feel worse! So I said no to the junk I wanted and stayed on track. Go me! I know this is going to a life long battle so I'm going to try to just take it one day at a time.
