Hip hop hooray, hop skip and jump I'm officially 10kg down!
It's been a big week, finishing my assignment I have to present on saturday to my class, so the eating has been pretty good, crap is counter productive to brain power.
Tuesdays food diary was lost in the ether...I tried up upload a new photo for my profile, this one is a year old and it wouldn't let me, I don't know if I blame the site or my aging computer.
Dr Libby was great on Tuesday, lots of information not a lot of it was new but the delivery was spot on, I highly recommend looking her up. The one I went to see was the magic and mysteries of the womans body.
Right I'm off to finish this presentation, it's my dragon of the day!
Ka pai to haere, nga mihi na tamzin xx

Morena e hoa ma!
Well our house was a chocolate free zone this weekend, for those of you who know me well you will understand what a achievement that is, Lindt bunnies have usually ruled my easters for the last few years.
Jack my 4 year old did get a few eggs from friends and family but we gave him a dinosaur 3D puzzles and a new book that we did as a family, much better than setting him up with the "chocolate is a treat and comfort" later on in life.
I have not been recording my food diary this weekend just because I couldn't be bothered, I was so hung over for two days after the Billy Idol debacle then I had to get my self together as I have a assignment and presentation due this week, not because I fell off the wagon in to confectionary purgatory.
I'm off to a seminar tonight, Mum and I are off to see DR Libby, she is an Australian but I don't hold that against her! She does a lot of writing on "women's health" and the link between food and hormones, I went and saw a seminar from one of the spokespersons for endometriosis last year and she had some practical tips, so if I learn a ton of stuff I'll share during the week. Good luck with those dragons xx

Morena e hoa ma!
Well we have just gotten back from 11 days in paradise in the pacific aka Rarotonga, I would like to say I was thoughtful and restrained but that would be a lie. I drank every night, my teenage self would of been impressed, we ate out 5 nights which all were at least two courses and did no exercise other than sweating in the heat & snorkeling which is basically using my buoyancy to float about and look at pretty fish while working on my tan. So we are now home, it's getting cold, started back at cross fit last night and they almost killed me for an hour and a half but the sun has come out to reward me for my efforts last night so I will go for a walk and try to catch some vitamin D!
Good luck with those dragons, I'm off to battle mine, nga mihi na Tamzin

Fuck what a morning, Jack had a fever and was up all night crying about sore ears which = no sleep!!
So I decide to take him to the DR as we fly out on Friday, mad rush ring everybody I have met more than once to come meet me in town and take Jack for a hour so I can go to my interview...Jacks Dr app was at 9.45am and my interview at 11am, both in courtenay place.
My friend Sarah said she could, wicked! Arrange to meet at 10.40 on dixon st, 10.40-45-50-55, 11am Fuck I'm late, I'm never late especially for interviews argggghhhhhhhhh. I start trying to find some shade so I can go through my call log to ring them, number doesn't work it's for outbound calls only argggh I am now sweating and slightly skitterish while trying to act calm and entertain a small sick child in the middle of dixon st. Try to turn the data on my phone so I can email them...11.05, emailed them, still sweating now heavily, it's hot and I'm starting to get frustrated...11.15am My phone rings, it is the lady I had an interview with "I was expecting you at 11" me: fumble, I am sorry I did email your colleague, sorry child c are issues, I am just around the corner I will be there as soon as possible. "just let reception know and they will call me" 11.20am, Right I am feeling a bit like Erin Brokavitch at this point, I will take my child....I dragged Jack his backpack and his booster seat to the building and sat in the reception area dripping with sweat, trying to be calm and breezy and answer Jacks questions with out putting my head in a oven and turning it on. Lady comes down, looks at Jack, says I think we should re shedule, I gave her my paper work and passport and am waiting for a call back. Far out, this is the life of a working mama, I'm not sure I'm cut out for it!
