13 November 2012
We went to London.
I did eat well 90% of the time w/ fruits and veggies.
I did drink tho. I did live off of nuts though which are very high in calories.

This week was good.
We were allowed to have diary again (we cut it out for 14 days)
We still had snacks before bed everyday. It is our week time, but they were protein based!!!
I find this time of the year hard becuase of all the work luncheon's and social gatherings we have. Mike and I are both in the military and they are our family considering we live in Europe so families bring food!
Considering life's tempatations this week I think I did well. I tried all of the chili's (talking 1 tsp of each) at our chili competition (we won), I tried a low cal pumpkin cupcake (she said they were 100 cal each), I tried 1 bite of the cheesecake I made, and 1 slice of the pumpkin cornbread that I made.
All in all I kept my veggie intake high and my sugar intake low.
WOOT!

We lift weights! We run! We love spin classes and yoga and being active!
So w/ that in mind...
We have
1) protein shakes when we wake up (pre-workout)
2) protein + fruit for breakfast (post-workout)
3) protein + veggies (lunch)
4) protein shake (if returning to the gym) or protein + veggies (if staying at work until 5p)
5) protein + veggie + carb (dinner)
6) cottage cheese OR popcorn OR protein shake (if we get the munchies)
On the weekends things change --> + 1 carb (w/ breakfast) - protein shake if the morning (we sleep in past 445AM)
PS: we love our fats (cottage cheese, nuts on our salads, oils on our veggies, and butter in severe moderation!

I have been counting calories and logging workouts for over 2 years now.
I was too hard on my self, and then I didnt have any accountability.
I think it is time to get on track.
5 days a week of perfect eating (my idea of perfection). On the weekends we splurge a little on breakfast (think homemade oatmeal pancakes and turkey bacon) and we like to have 1 meal every 14 days that is special (bbq w/ friends or out to eat somewhere).
No more daily cheating. 16 days ago we started, and it feels great!
