My plan had been to weigh once a week. But I had been doing really well on the program and decided just to take a peak. I wasn't going to record it but I just couldn't resist. I know the first week shows the best weight loss and that I wont have this much loss ongoing but it really gave me a good feeling and I wanted to share.
Weigh-in:
195.2 lb
lost so far:
4.8 lb
still to go:
45.2 lb
Diet followed reasonably well

losing 11.2 lb a week

yesterday was easier than I thought. I usually get hungry when I'm at my evening job but I didn't last night. I exceeded my sugar goal of 48 grams, but I was pretty careful. Actually the cereal I had before I started on this website was my downfall for the day. But I did really well the rest of the day in my sugar use. I think that is what helped with cravings at Michaels. I'm convinced that severely reducing sugar intake will reduce cravings and overall boost my weight control program ( I refuse to call it a diet it's a lifestyle).
So far today has been easy also. I wanted to eat chocolate for a snack but I ate pears instead. Changing from coffee to iced tea further reduced my sugar substitute. I think the sugar substitutes can affect the cravings much like sugar does.

I have come to realize that I really need to reduce my sugar intake. I've heard a teeny bit about Ellen's sugar cleanse and I think it makes a lot of sense. Sugar is addictive. The more you have the more you want and it is usually most interesting to me in a very unhealthy delivery, ice cream, cookies, chocolate of any form. So I want to get control of it and in doing so I think I may get better control of my diet and weight.
