Hello Fatsecret buddies :)
I am following the atkins diet. I've got a trip to Punta cana with my name on it so here I go again with my eating eggs and meat routine..lol..I will say that I tried atkins before and it does work. The 'Induction' phase isn't too bad. I stuck with the program for several months and then went off the plan 'just because.' It was actually easy to stay on the plan but I got lazy. No biggie though, I am back on the plan and ready to shed pounds once again :)

Low Carb Diet
I follow the atkins plan- which is obviously low carb. Check out atkins.com for ideas one what some low carb foods, fruits and veggies are to make it easy on yourself when it comes to counting. They also have meal ideas.

low carb snacks?
I am a big snacker myself and am currently in the induction phase...my sweet snacks are:
1. freezing 'zero' cherry pepsi in ice cube trays and then crushing the ice into a slushy..this is no carbs..or you can also use this technique with the atkins shakes..i like vanilla
2. eating the atkins caramel nut roll which is a few net carbs
3. sugar free jello
the atkins website has a lot of others..good luck!
