This week, I'll be trying the "hunger scale" and "mindful eating." This will emphasize not going more than 3-4 hours without eating something and asking myself if I'm bored or stressed, rather than actually hungry. I've done OK this week, but ran off the path a few times, especially last night.

Falling off the wagon is to be expected especially around the holidays. I feel really bloated and am determined to end the year on a strong note, hopefully to "re-lose" any gained weight. Today, I will try to eat less than 1500 calories and go to the gym despite it being Sunday.

Had to further reduce my insulin intake to 2-3 units at lunch and metformin for the rest of the day.

Going a little higher for calorie intake than what I would really like, but I also amped up my workouts to 3-5 hours per day, involving yoga, weights and calisthenics in the evening, particularly before bedtime. This is helping me to shut off night-time cravings, reduce cortisol levels and sleep better at night. This routine has been deeply beneficial as sleeping well is also a key to healthy weight loss, controlling levels of ghrelin which soar at night, causing people to raid the fridge.

Should have had more lost because of the sheer deficit of calorie, but strongly suspect that my muscles are developing due to certain aches in legs,arms,sides and abdomen.
