62 years old and married. Currently a local truck driver, also retired US Navy. Started gaining weight after stopped smoking 11 years ago. Started jogging 3 miles every other day with weight training on alternate days (2 years). Still had my gut. Started taking Karate classes for about 8 months 'til I lost my thumb in an accident and got layed off from work. Not much of a diet fan, but tried going vegan and gluten free(lasted 6 months). Bought a treadmill and started jogging 30 minuted each day (3 weeks). Injured my knee at work and had surgery. So I just give up! Weight maintains around 225-235. Decided I'd try the Military Diet plan, so that's where I'm at. Started yesterday 05/31/2016.
