I haven't been on here in a LONG time.
I strayed away from my diet in December due to the holidays.
But I've been back on track as of January 1st. I even created a personal work out plan.
I'm losing weight slowly, but I'm just happy to be losing any.
I'm not nessecarily counting calories anymore. I'm just eating healthier foods and smaller proportions.
Hopefully it continues to work.
I'll be on more often, just not updating my diet calender.

losing 0.3 lb a week

Okay. I've decided that enough is enough. It's time to REALLY try.
This past monday through today (wednesday), I have been eating HORRIBLEY. And I didn't record anything in my diet calender.
Last week, basically Monday through....Saturday, I did really good. No snacking issues. But I didn't lose anything at all. But, the thing is, I know that I'm deffinately not eating enough veggies, and I'm not really eating any fruit....at all.
I've decided to start eating ONLY fruits and veggies as snacks. And I'm not cutting out carbs completely. That would be a very, very "stupid" thing to do. I'm still going to have some carbs for only breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Just not with every meal. That was probably why I didn't lose anything. I eat too many carbs.
To make this easier to do, I have created a checklist. I will keep
it open on my computer and everyday I will check off what I ate.
1 cup of milk (with breakfast):
Banana (with breakfast):
Yogurt (with lunch):
String Cheese (home from school):
Cup or so of carrots (after string cheese, with some dip):
2 or so sticks of celery (after carrots, with some cream cheese):
Fruit cup (after celery):
Orange or 1 cup of fruit juice (after/with fruit cup):
1 cup of veggies with dinner:
Salad :
Apple (dessert):
This will obviously make it a lot easier to resist temptations and remember what to eat. I am not going to record any calories for abbout a week or so and see what happens. Hopefully this is the key for me to lose weight, AND to be healthy.
Ugh. It's so difficult being 14 and trying to lose weight. School is so hard and, well, annoying. And on top of that stress, there's the constant stress of fitting in and being "skinny". And, honestly, I just want to be a normal weight. Not skinny. I'll be happy just to be healthy. Anyways, it really stinks having to worry about getting good grades and eating right. All of my friends can eat cookies, ice-cream, and stinkin' tator-tots for lunch, and not gain an OUNCE. I'm complaining too much lately. Ha.

For dinner today I made two homemade thin crust pizzas. One was with sauce and cheese and the other was with sauce, cheese, spinach, and ricotta. I made, and kneeded, and rolled out the dough all by myself. And trust me, it was far from being easy. lol. But the hard work was worth it. They were absolutely delish! And the slices were a lot smaller than pizza from stores. And A LOT healthier. No added salt, no grease, and I actually know what's going into my food! I was probably a quarter of the calories in pizza from stores. I had one piece of each pie. They were so good! And probably only 100-150 calories all together!
It was deffinately a fun night! =]

Second day of being back on track. Doing reasonably well. Being home for Thanksgiving, plus a bunch of other days, totally threw me off. I ate a bunch of "crap" and didn't record anything on here, so I don't even know how many calories I ate. Oh well. At least I'm doing better now.
I'm terrified about Christmas break. And new years. O joy. Can't wait. lol.
