DAY 1
This is definately not my first day on Atkins.
The first time I tried cutting carbs and following Atkins approximately, I lost a stone in a few weeks ( I needed it!) This is the only way I can lose weight at a rate I am happy with. If I lose too slowly I don't feel successful and turn to food - and baking! - for comfort.
A few reasons why I want to succeed again:
1. So that I can fit into the gorgeous clothes I have which don't even button up right now.
2. So that my man can pick me up without getting a hernia!
3. So that I can feel confident when I go to job interviews.
A few ways I am staying in line:
1. Drink two big glasses of luke warm herbal tea first thing in the morning before any food to rehydrate myself. I make myself two litres of tea in the morning and drink fro it all day until it's gone. Cold or warm or reheated.
2. Following OWL and Premaintenance rather than strict Induction. Adding grains and lentils to my diet and as much salad as I can eat!
3. Usin a seperate cupboard just for me with eggs, grains, herbal tea, Atkins bars and shakes etc and no baking, bread, pasta or sweets in it - they live in another cupboard I don't use.
4. I weigh myself at least once a week but as often as I want to and I measure myself in 8 different places on my body for motivation. If I've lost a centimetre anywhere I'm happy!
5. Starting to exercise for 10 minutes a day. Next weeks it 15 minutes!
