TGIF! Mom, kids, and I have had a trip to St. Louis tomorrow planned for about a month. We were planning to visit The Arch and City Museum, but The Arch is closed because of the government shutdown, so we will just drive by and see it, then visit the museum. Looks like there is tons of stuff to do at the museum so we will still have an awesome day! Looking so forward to it.

Wednesday I did my cardio kickbox video I love, but haven't done in awhile, lots of squats, jacks, and lunges. Thighs and butt were a bit sore yesterday, but when I got home I decided a walk would loosen everything up. Kids and I walked to the post office (about a mile there and back) Kids did a great job, that's a long way for a 4 almost 5 year old (bday the 24th!)! This morning when I got up I didn't think I was going to be able to walk!! Yikes my thighs are super sore. Since I know we'll be doing a lot of walking tomorrow, I'm going to skip my lunch time walk today.

Feeling very bloated today and weight is up, thinking (and hoping) it is water retention. I made a big pot of tortellinies Sunday and we had the left overs last night. I got low sodium chicken broth, but it still had quite a bit of sodium and I didn't drink as much water yesterday and Sunday, so I'm going to try to push more water today and not worry too much about it. The fluctuation is frustrating though, I do get tired of the down then back up of the same 2-3 pounds on the scale. (EDIT - updated my food diary. . .increase could be due to going over my calories 2 days in a row, yesterday was major!!)
Tonight we are having family movie night, buying The Croods on my lunch hour and we're all going to watch it tonight. The kids are super excited to see it again. So going to get some finger foods to have as supper while we watch. Can't wait for the work day to be over :)

2nd weigh in for Lose 2 Win challenge, two weeks until next weigh in. I am going to be out of the 150's for that one!! First goal is to hit 5%. . . 6 lbs to go to do that, hopefully I can hit that by the 3rd weigh in. Wanted to do it in 2, but I slacked off the first week of this challenge so. . . 2nd goal is to fit into my brown dress pants. They fit, but don't button, I want them to button again :)

Thought about stopping for doritos and soda this morning, because in my mind after each weigh in I reset, so I have a "cheat" day. . . but I want to make cheeseburgers for supper and I'd rather have a "cheat" item at lunch, so I opted for a protein bar and I'm really glad that I did! However I need to get some more because my kids saw me get it and they wanted to try one for breakfast. I already know my son loves them and I have to hide them, now my daughter loves them. She suggested I buy 2 boxes next time, one for me one for them. What a smart girl!
