I am a caregiver. I usually work with hospice cases. I work a week on for 24/7 and then a week off. I miss my hubby and my faithful dog "Gracie" when I am away. My work is both rewarding and emotionally draining. My diet and exercise program is off most of the time. But I have decided to make losing the weight that I have regained a priority. I want 8 pounds gone by Thanksgiving and the balance by Dec 10th. So I will have to work hard at staying on plan under unusual circumstances. I can and will do it! I am a young 46 (great genes!) and have a blessed marriage. My hubby deserves a sexy, fit wife and it BETTER be ME!! LOL!!

Other diets=yuck today
I am doing Weight Watchers and very happy with the program. This is my second go with WW's. I also in the interim went on the SBD and lost a nice amount of weight and maintained the weight loss for quite some time. SBD works great and pretty darned fast! However, that being said - although I kept alot of the process in place (such as no white bread or potato's) I just cannot eat the SBD way of life for life. I just prefer WW's so if I really, really want something - anything at all - it can be factored into my points. I can eat whatever I like as long as I am willing to pay the points. I can eat this way for life. Both programs are great but you just have to choose what program works for you. No matter which program you are on - if it works for you and you can honestly say that you can do it for lifetime - then you are doing the right thing.

Looking for some buddies
I'll kick yours if you kick mine!! ha! I just started back on weight watchers too. I did stay within (actually under) my points range today. I want to lose the weight that I have gained back (about 12 pounds) before it gets too far out of hand and I am back where I started. Yikes!!

Need a meeting buddy in Dallas...
Okay...I live in Farmersville. But I work every other week in Highland Park for 24/7. When do you go to WW meetings and where? I get off work every other Tuesday so I could go bi-weekly possibly. My work schedule is hectic but I would like a meeting buddy or at least a WW program buddy to keep each other accountable.
