I need to learn how to control my breathing while I run. Went running with my boyfriend after work last night and I surprised myself how far I can run. I discovered a secret which I believe was my problem...Spanx. I now (as of last night) wear a spank when I run. It holds all my extra skin in...which USED to bounce and literally bounce my clothes off of me and hurt my chest and back with the weight impact of the skin bouncing. I never could keep running because I would have to stop to pull my pants back up. But with a spank on and a sports bra, no problem. I believe I could run a mile solid! Only problem I have now is the breathing. I have to stop to catch up on my breath and will be breathing so hard it feels like my rib is stabbing my lung.

While running yesterday I looked down at my legs. It was so strange! I literally could see the muscles working under my skin and it made me feel really good about my progress. I feel healthier than I've ever felt. Two years ago I could have only IMAGINED myself running like that. Two years ago just walking the distance I ran yesterday would have had me out of breath and sweating worse than I did yesterday running it. My confidence level is out of the roof compared to what it used to be.

I have been tanning a lot lately too. I am tan and getting my muscles toned. I feel so good about myself. Not going to stop because the way it makes me feel about myself makes the effort and the sore muscles totally worth it.

YAY 2 pounds down in the past week. I've been trying hard.

Didn't eat much yesterday. My boss was mean to me at work yesterday and it just made me completely lose my appetite and yes I cried. I'm way too sensitive lol.

I went jogging last night after work with my boyfriend. I think its the furthest I've ever actually ran without stopping to walk in between. I was feeling really good and could have kept going but it started pouring down rain on us and we ran back to the car and came home. But we got a good 20 minutes in. Also I walk between 4-6 miles everyday at work.

Today is my day off. My boyfriend leaves for work at 5:30 AM and always gives me a kiss before he leaves. Usually I fall right back asleep but today I just couldn't fall back asleep. I am sleepy but I am up. Its stupid to wake up at 5:30 on your day off. I should be sleeping in. Today I am going to clean house. I have a lot of laundry to do. Tonight right before the sun goes down when it's not BURNING hot, I will go jogging again. :)

For dinner I believe I am just going to roast some brocolli and boyfriend can grill some chicken. Have a great day everyone.

And actually that weight is good bc a week ago I was 195!!! lol
Too much birthday cake and fried foods UGH...

Back on Fatsecret. I haven't been on in so long!!! I really believe fatsecret helps me stay focused on this, so I am back. And I just realized the update to where it notifies you of friend's activites--AWESOME!

I really want to get to my goal weight of 150. I went to the doctor a couple of weeks ago. He mentioned my six pound weight gain and that I dont want to start going in the wrong direction after losing 150 pounds. I've worked way too hard to end up back in that situation...smothered by pounds and depression. I told the doctor that I want so bad to get down to 150...He said NO WAY that I would look weird at 150--im too "big boned"???...He went on to say my shoulders are broader than his :(...He wants me to be at 165 at the lowest... Just you wait doctor! I am going to get to 150 and I'm not going to look weird--I'm going to look pretty damn sexy. Maybe I'll get to 140! I'm not that big boned...he really made me feel masculine...

SO update on the tummy tuck to lose extra skin. Not happening....YET. Insurance will not cover it. I want to have children one day SOON--like within the next year! So I figure if I am going to get it done I will wait until after the pregnancy.

I've been exercising with my boyfriend a lot lately too. Not JUST walking but actually RUNNING! Who would have ever though I could run? Last time we ran my stomach was so sore the next day, seems like running is really doing wonders on my stomach and waist. I have also been lifting small 8 pound weights trying to tone my arms, and doing crunches every night. At my job I walk a lot. I wasn't aware of how much I walked until I put a pedometer app on my phone and kept it in my pocket at work all day. SIX MILES! At work! So I feel like I am doing pretty great on the exercise factor of weight loss...now if only I could control my appetite and my food choices.

The past few days I have done great with my meals. I stopped getting fast food when I am at work and I bring food instead. It is saving me money AND calories. I take fresh grapes to snack on, yogurt, and left overs or a lean pocket. I have been having mad craving for rootbeer lately, I need to cut back to just water like I used to do, but MMMMM rootbeer :) so delicious. I'm not going to buy any more rootbeer though...not worth it! I'd rather get my calorie intake in from nutritious food.

In September me and Todd, and two of my friends and their boyfriends are going on a cruise to the Bahamas. My new goal is to just feel better about myself by the time we board that cruise. I want to be toned and tighter, less flabby. And honestly I don't care WHAT the number on the scale is, as long as it isn't more than that it is today. I am going to keep exercising and eating right and let my body be what it decides to be.
