I am up!!! I am get back on track..although my first entry doesn't reflect it!!! on the road without a lot of food choices....
I will not faulter...Not for the rest of the day.....to quote a famous movie line "As God is my witness I will never go hungry again!!!!"
Hurry up Spring!!!! Here comes all the spring veggies and decaf tea...I can't weight!!!

MY STARR IS FINALLY HOME!!!!
She was released from the hospital Wednesday night...she is still having some kidney issues but we are confident that she will gain control over that with the right motivation. (i.e. less diet drinks more decaf tea and water)....
As for myself my weight has been maintained over the last 9 days....NOT what I wanted!! but I will accept it for what it is.... Now that all has finally calmed down I can concentrate more on me....I have been battling this D@^#m diverticulitis for the last 2 weeks. I know its an infection and will go away in its own time but it is very frustrating to see my weight fluctuate between 2-4 lbs on a daily basis. I try not to weigh in but every 10 days so I can see the results and not be in this situation. I believe I will start to cut down more on my calorie intake and add more seasonal fresh veggies and now that my foot has stopped acting up I believe I can start walking more again.....
Well thats enough about me!!! I hope ALL of YOU on my BUDDIES list are doing well and that you are meeting your goals. I'm sorry I haven't been in contact with each of you personally but I do read your journals daily...Have a Fantabulous day and an even more Fantabulous weekend!!!

Update! Update!!
With any luck today my Starr will get to come home from the hospital....over the last 2 weeks she has gained over 25 lbs of just fluid from the IV meds they had her own. They have finally discontinued those and starting giving her oral instead. Her skin is so tight from the swelling that it is shiny and her joints are very painful. She has been a trooper...she has been forcing herself to get out of bed and walk the hospital corridors to keep up her exercise. She had numerous battles with severe nose bleeds for several days after the surgery and her PFT's (pulmonary functions have dropped to about 30% lung capacity) This is a great concern for me but she tells me not to worry ...(I'm not dieing)....her new normal range is now around 50%.... good news is she is not on oxygen her O2 Sats are at 99%.... She and I again want to thank all of you for your prayers and well wishes...it will take her about 6 weeks to fully detox all of these medications out of her system and hopefully get back down to a functional weight for her.... :)
