today was an awesome day! I went to the gym again today...4 days in a row :) and did over and hour of cardio and weights combined. My arms and legs are still feeling the burn. Came home and made garlic lemon chicken tenders and broccoli. I was very satisfied with dinner which is surprising because I LOVE potatoes and meals usually don't feel complete with out them! Tomorrows exercise will be laps in the pool with my daughter :)
also I did my very first pull up ever in my life today :) yes it was with help from weights but I did it!!!

So here I am about a year later after my last attempt at weight loss. Last year I stuck to it for about a month...didn't do much exercise but did make a lot of food changes. I gave up.. A year later Im over 10 lbs heavier than I was last year and 100 % committed to shed the weight for good. I've been heavy since I was in 1st or second grade and was only thin for about 2 year in high school (dropped 70lbs and gained it all back and then some)I joined a gym and Monday was my first day...I was pumped all day to go...had my gym bag waiting in the car and was excited to get started! I started on a bike for about 10 mins..then I did the treadmill for another 10 mins then I did the elliptical for about 15. Not sure if that's a great start or mediocre but its a start! It felt great to not get off work and go sit in my bed with the laptop in my lap. I have been excited every day to get to the gym and do a little more than yesterday. Im not telling any family or friends of my progress because Ive done that time and time again...I tell them "im going to get fit" and a month later Ive given up. Nope this time im just doing it! Ive gotten a lot of support though through others testimonies and stories of success so would love to be of support and get support from those just like me. WE CAN DO IT! I decided that I will take this one day at a time and focus on small goals at a time. Good luck to you all and I hope to find some great support here!

Down another 2.4 lbs. Much less than last week but I made some pretty poor choices so Im not surprised. But im happy I still lost some!
