Im enjoying updating my journal! :) I keep a hand written journal too so I can easily look back at how im doing. Had my usual breakfast today...eggs and turkey sausage. Im definitely ready to change it up a bit so need to go shopping Friday! Lunch was garlic chicken with green beans and squash. Snack, was raw nuts and a banana. Did not go to the gym today I instead took boobie (my daughter) to the park and for a long bike ride on this beautiful day. Got home too late to have dinner and im not really hungry anyway. Hope you are all staying motivated!

Had a great day after falling off track this weekend. I had a healthy breakfast and lunch with grapes and nuts as a snack...just a few of each...I haven't had dinner because im not hungry! and I do not feed my body if its not hungry! hit the gym for an hour after work and did mix of cardio and strength training. I felt great afterwards! Looking forward to another great day tomorrow!

Did my first weight in today after starting my serious journey last Monday. Down 2.6 lbs...was definitely hoping for a little more but I went down and Im happy for it! I did meal prepping yesterday for the whole week so I have healthy lunch every day. I made baked turkey breast cutlets and chicken tenders, with roasted green beans and sautéed zucchini and squash. It is really good! And again im not missing potatoes! (still shocked at that one) Im not doing a a low/no card diet but I know potatoes are not my friend so im staying away from them. Im pumped to hit the gym today! Hope every one is having a great Monday!

Today was definitely not a good day as far as food intake...but did have a very active day. Went to a discovery park and walked and interacted with things for 6 hours...so definitely got my exercise in but did not eat great. I am not discouraged though! Tomorrow I will jump back on that healthy food train and then Monday comes my first weigh in! Im pretty excited about that..ive been tempted to hop on the scale but want to wait a full week. Every Monday I will do a weigh in and take new pictures to document my journey.
