Quick journal today.

Weight was good today. I want to get to losing more, but am not too motivated. Well, I am but overwhelmed with stresses right now. Have to put myself 1st, love myself, and carry on doing the right things!

I will ride bike after work, looking forward to that for sure. Winds look pretty rough right now. Son has baseball tonight and sleepovers, daughter planning sleepovers. Wife and I might be empty nesters this weekend! Probably not good for diet, as we will veer off routine in celebration!

Kitties got new toy, a bit old cat house tower thingy. They loved it, and was all over it while my son assembled it! Then baby Spooky batted the ball for about 2 hours and took a few naps in between. Concerned about Spooky's bad hygiene and other baby kitty habits. Hope she grows out of it. She is not good at cleaning her backside, lol.

Anyway, lets move on and have a great day!

This weekend was a bit wild. Not a bad lil gain, nothing to freak out about.

Rode bikes hard with cycling buddy Friday, maybe too hard, because after a few hours I was exhausted. Then I did happy hour at pub with "bad influence buddy" lol. We had a good time that evening, and it was not too expensive. I did not eat poorly at all either, baby steps!

Saturday I also rode with parner, he had a flat early on, and did not have a tube. Patched up, but it did not stick. He is not good at patching. Once we took off his tire lost air again after maybe a mile. I was riding along and he was gone! So I doubled back and was freaking out a bit, where did he go? Was he impaled in someones bumper? He had crossed the freeway and was heading home. We exchanged a few patches, he took my pump, and I took his co2. Anyway, i seperated finished my ride, and found him walking about 1.5 miles from home. I walked that last bit with him. Awww. Anyway, also konked out hard around lunchtime and was worthless and weak. Brain did not function.

Weekend sucked for homework, and it all came to a head Sunday. I literally worked ALL day on homework. Had a few issues with my schools website and Java that caused problems all week. Long story short I am caught up now.

Looks like I am living in groundhog day in regards to this transfer to Italy, but alas I dont think its going to happen. Not going to get in a tizzy over it as my life is good here as Mr KK frequently points out.

Wife is at Yoga and then getting stuff for "Dump Soup", or WW Cabbage Soup. It will surely kick start the weight loss journey, but alas I have promised DD lunch today. After my 1000 calorie ride this AM, I might even get a cheeseburger! XD Breakfast was already big too. Uh oh!

Nice weight loss today, 212.6. I dont remember being down to 212.X in a while!

Mongolian today though, but mucho bike riding this weekend. I am all in!

And on a previous journey, I think 212 was a bad number (I stuck there a while). On this journey 213 seems to be worse, so I'll take it! XD

Yesterday was nice. Coworkers insisted on Chili's and held sort of a mutiney. Usually we go out once per week, and I have been steering them to a chicken place called Nando's where I can get my chicken healthy food. We went to Chili's and it was epic fail, they were out of almost everything, they would not us get lunch specials because it was not 12 O'clock yet, and the service sucked. Anyway, I ate my pasta and had a nice little lunch. It was very spicy and salty so I did not really expect a loss today. But it was chicken and I did not eat a whole lot of it. Had a few nacho's and

I made "buffalo" chicken and veggies on a low carb wrap and some carrots for dinner for me and wifey. It came out nicely.

I jogged and walked on treadmill last night too, since it was too windy. I was able to jog for 2 mins easily at 5.5 MPH, and when I walked at 3.3 my HR was not even high. So my fitness levels are certainly much better than a year or so ago when I used to get on that treadmill. Now I have soreness in a few different places than I do when I ride the bike, and that is a good thing. I may add this to my repertoire, even though I dislike treadmills.

Still busy at work, let me get at it.

Oh, found out baby kitty Spooky has a heart murmur. Google seems to think its pretty common, any cat people heard of this? Should I be concerned?

Well, Its been a busy and exciting and crazy week. Up a little today.

We refi'd our house, that was stress filled nonsense chasing down intl UPS man, waiting 7 days for a package to be delivered just 1 hour before closing, etc. It was great fun.

I did get trashed over the weekend with my buddy. It was much needed. However, I feel like doing it all again after this week.

Very busy at work. Mainly with a few systems to get ready for our inspection the 1st week of February. This is also very stress filled.

To top it all off, it has been in the 50's, and blowing 30mph winds for about a week now. That means very little bike riding. I feel good resting my legs though. I am finding I need that bike ride for stress relief, as it makes me less crazy and allows me to sleep real good.

On the positive viewpoint, I have been doing well on my RDI tracking and eating the past two days. Last night I grilled a bunch of chicken.
