I want to recommend something to everyone... Today I invested in an Polar FT4 wrist watch that monitors your heart rate during exercise... What an amazing little invention. I was getting so sick of the estimate kcal for workouts on this site and wanted something that was actually accurate, and im really happy with it.
I have been to argos three times today, the first and second time I came out with two slightly cheaper heart rate monitors which do basically the same thing, and they both had to go back. Even just taking them out the packing, they were shite crap, one of which you had to press and hold a button for thirty seconds every five minutes which is just really not practical. This one monitors your heart rate constantly, worth every penny... I sound like a sales person, but you cant beat a good bit of tech which does what it says on the tin!
Im sorry i havent been on this site in a while, Ive been so ill for a few weeks now. But i dont seem to have put on any weight, ive barely moved to be honest but barely eaten either. I had a bit of a naughty day food wise today, its been the first day ive been able to keep anything in, so i had what I wanted! But I recorded it all and then did a short 200kcal power walk as my first exercise in a while, and used it as a chance to test out my polar watch!

Why have I eaten soooo much today!!? A whole pack of rolos!?! Was a treat from my boss for doing some extra work so could hardly say no, but it's added a lot of wasted kcals to my day!!

I've been so terrible at remembering to record my food diary, but I've been mindful of what I'm eating and recorded my food today... I didn't know plain nuts had so many calories, dragged my Kcals way up .... Oh and the cheeky chips :-( but I named and shamed it!!!

I'm pretty much half way to my interim target .... But I've fallen off the wagon for the last ten days ish. I've had pretty much what I want to eat and I feel sluggish and horrible again, with poor digestion and no energy at all. So I am very keen to regain focus! I haven't given up was just taking a break whilst on holiday. So I am using the name and shame tactic today, I ate naughty things so I recorded it and had a homemade smoothie for dinner to try and compensate for it. Going to have a salad for lunch tomorrow, already planned what I'm going to have which I find helps. I am backkkk!!!! Gym tomorrow!!!!
