My diet has not been up to par. However, I remain faithful in my walking program. Today, I am making some more soup. I think that could hold the key to success. Lunch has always been my downfall. I tend to just grab something and it's usually not something that is good for me or for my program. When I have some soup, I have that for lunch, with or without a sandwich, depending how hungry I am. I always feel better when I eat sensibly. I am happy with how things are going. I have come a long way in the past six weeks and I intend to keep on going. I know there will be struggles, but that is life. My personal life is stressed right now, but the one constant remain ... I continue to go for my one hour walk daily. One day this week, I even went twice! All in all, life is good, losing weight is a challenge but the results will be well worth it!
GOAL THIS WEEK: Make my soup and eat it too!!!!!

I had a really rough week. Had too many days away where temptation was not easily turned down. The walking also suffered with four days of inactivity. BUT, I am back on track. I walked yesterday and had a good walk tonight too. I promise that next Thursday will bring better results. There is not much sense fretting about this pound gained as I cannot do a damn thing about it. I am realistic in knowing there will probably be more weeks like this along my journey. My challenge is in making sure they are the rare setbacks. I used to have bad weeks all the time before I started this program. I am still feeling positive !!

I don't have as much access to the computer. The program continues to go well and I am pumped to achieve my goal. I can't wait to fit into some clothes. The weight loss will be slower now. I am grateful for the fast start that I got though. It was so exciting! Supposed to be hot all week. Not sure how much walking I'll get in. Oh well, I'll hang tough if I have to.
