I spent the day with my mom yesterday and I got on her scales. I weighed 200.6 lbs! Since I don't have a scale here at home, I figured I probably weighed around 202 lbs when I first started out on this diet. I am definitely going to get one today. Also, my goal for today is to do research on what to eat when dining out.

After breakfast yesterday, my diet really went downhill. Mom and I got a Chicken Salad Sandwich combo from Chic Fil-A for lunch yesterday. About an hour after lunch, I felt sleepy - from all the carbs I ate I am sure. Then, for dinner, my husband decided he wanted to go to a Chinese buffet here in town. I had baked imitation crab swimming in cheese and butter, fried rice, sweet and sour chicken-without the red sauce, a couple of crab legs, and some fruit. I can honestly say that the first bite I put in my mouth was horrible. I know it is because I have been eating better the last few days. By the end of our meal, my stomach was so swollen and I felt nauseated. The one thing I didn't do was beat myself up over it. I knew that I just needed to research what I can eat before I go to a restaurant. This morning I am back on my routine - Atkins Shake and about 20 almonds. I have felt so good this week since I have been eating this for breakfast. Another thing that is really cool is that Publix has their Atkins frozen meals on BOGO this week. I bought a few meals the other day and I am happy.

I know that I keep saying I am on a diet, but really, this is a journey for me to get healthy. I want to lose this weight really bad. Another thing I want in this journey is to lose a few bra sizes. Eventually I want to get a breast reduction because I feel this will help my self-esteem along with the weight loss.

For now I am just going to take it one day at a time. This is really the best way to do this.
