How Often Do you weigh yourself?
I weigh myself every two weeks, it works for me. The reward is defiantly in the way you look and feel, but when you step on the scale and you see the result, that makes you feel good as well. As you start getting closer and closer to your target weight the pounds will come off slower, so you may not see a ½ pound or a pound lost if you weigh yourself every day, in fact it could show the opposite. Over the course of the entire week or two the end result will be 2-3 pounds depending on your goals. If you stick with your plan the weight will come off, you will know if you stepped off your path. Hard work and persistence will pay off. On a related note if you are doing weight training as part of your plan, you may be gaining muscle weight and losing fat weight, muscle weighs more than fat, so the scale does not always tell the whole story.
