Had a rough couple of days, but I'm trying to stay positive. There's just no other option for me. I see a lot of my buddies include their workouts in their journal entry. I want to be accountable to you all, so I'll do the same (not that that is the reason you do it, it's just I think it will help me out). Every workout gets a journal entry. If you don't see one for more than two days in a row, feel free to PM me for a slap upside my head. LOL!!

My bio-clock has been screaming at me as of late. I've been pushing that snooze button for the past 2 years. The idea of losing weight took on another level for me recently. I would love to grow our family after we get married (my fiance has a son from a previous relationship...I really treat him like my own), but I can't carry a child in an unhealthy vessel. I want to be a healthy bride and a healthy mommy-to-be.

Today @ 6am:

15 min of speed walking around lake

15 min of OnDemand Kickboxing routine

I hope to complete the OnDemand Kickboxing video tonight and get in Upper Body strength training at the apartment gym. I will edit this entry once it is complete.

Fantastic news: I'm engaged!!! My BF proposed to me this past Friday night, the day after my birthday. He was so sweet. He took me to the park that we went to on our first date when we were 16 years old and asked me (we parted ways when I went off to college and got back together 4 years ago). I cried because he did such a good job on the proposal and choosing the ring...see below



Please ignore my gimp pinky. LOL! It's an old HS Basketball injury.

We haven't picked a date, because it really revolves around my brother's leave. He's an Army Commander and is stationed overseas now and he MUST be here without a doubt.

So, I'm really on the grind on this weight loss. Even if I'm not at goal for my wedding, I want to have some sense of accomplishment. Maybe I should set a goal of 250lbs since that was my weight when we first met in HS. According to him, he spotted me in the bleachers filming a basketball game and was attracted to my legs (which I even have to admit were the bomb back in the day, lol) in my track shorts and tracked me down through mutual friends to ask me out. Persistence pays off, I suppose. :)
