Weigh-in today was 251. I yo-yo-ed a bit since my last drop because it was due to a short starvation run. Went up to 252, fought off a few meals to get back down. Craving cheese lately, annoying. I need to go get more salad fixings and I can satisfy it. Grilled cheese is calling me, but I know there is a better way. The first thing I ate after 2 days of slimfast shakes was mediocre in healthiness, but it was better than the cheese enchiladas, beans and rice that by body was craving. OMG! Overall, just glad I managed to keep off the 5 I lost.

However.... I did make another large personal leap today. I got on the treadmill and moved my ass for the very first time in this weight-loss journey. :) Yay! My aunt and uncle were so gracious to give me use of said treadmill, probably 2 years ago. It's done little more than collect dust in that time. (It also does help secure my front windows from possible break-in, lol) Today, it had a new use, not a security wall, clothing hanger, project storage or dustbunny collector... I flipped the switch and moved my feet. For a full 30 minutes. It felt great. I had my laptop setup so I could listen to pandora in headphones and my heartrate in the fat burn target area according to the programming. I could seriously see myself doing that again. Especially now that I feel like I've gained some skills in diet and nutrition. This was really the part I had not yet committed to. I had Will take a picture of me walking so that I can see the difference as I progress.


So..... soon.... I hope to see a drop..... I want to get into the 240's this week. I've been losing approximately 5 pounds a month by diet alone for the last 3 months according to the charting here on fatsecret. I want to lose at least 10 pounds in June. My mind races to imagine the things I could do by the end of the year! :) I'm ready for a leaner and meaner me!

Had a rough couple of days, couldn't eat. Only benefit, shaved off 5 more pounds. However, it's more than that, it's the lightest I've been in more than 8 years. Yay me. It's hard to see just 5 pounds, but now that's a total of 14 pounds from the 265 I was at when I started actively trying to lose or 21 pounds from the heaviest I got up to of 272. I feel lighter in my step. That part feels great. I'm still not happy with my body shape, but I accept that it will take time. I haven't started walking yet. I'm procrastinating, I know it. I don't want to admit it, but I know it. I can feel the desire to get out there and put my feet in front of another though. This "losing streak" has got me feeling more "balanced" to get out there and push myself harder. My next goal was to see under 250 of course, and I'm not too far off at 251 as long as I can maintain this loss.

I hadn't thought about what my next goal was. I guess I hadn't had the chance to think past the "get below 255" point for a while. I guess I'd like to get under 240 pounds now. That's 11 pounds away. I wonder what 240 looks like on me? (better than 270, or 260, or even 250 I'd bet.) :)
