Hi Everyone,

Been a month and a half since my update. Thanks to Kim for the message and checking in with me. I can't wait to create a progress bar of pictures, but for now let me give you a sense of what's going on:

Above is a picture of my legs/waist from 2 weeks ago (toward the end of June). I see myself losing weight everywhere. It's very pleasing.

I haven't been tracking food or going on a scale lately. I see my body still changing from just letting time doing its thing by still drinking a lot of water and tea, and eating apples, protein smoothies, and veggie meals. I've seen a lot of progress from just continuing my lifestyle.

My friend Liz IRL (also on fatsecret) came over and we walked around the block. I ran afterward for 20 minutes straight. Even though that's slow and not incredible, that is very tough for me to do. When I do outside exercise I feel eyes on me (I don't know about you but during the day I get cat calls and it reinforces anxiety) so when I run it's a challenge. I also have asthma which makes it tough. I want to extend my run and endurance but it was a good start for last night. I know I haven't been keeping a steady schedule on exercising. I started a new job and life has gotten in the way. But I've been making progress in other little things that are important (like cleaning/organizing) and balancing things out helps my overall health.

So in all I've seen a little progress. Ordered calipers (skin fold) to measure body fat approx. and I have a tape measure (first time ever measuring myself around! info to come on that later. really helps keeps things accurate-- way more than a scale would anyway!) I also ordered a kettlebell.

What kind of diets are everyone on? I don't feel stressed out (thankfully) with the resources to my vegan diet, but all my vegan friends are already thin/lookin' good as shit. Now I'm ranting....

Anyway. Keep up the good work everyone! Next time I post I want to re-frame my goals and diet/workout regime.

Remember that these things take time. Don't stress during the process of this project. It takes time for your body to respond to this lifestyle change. Be good to yourself. I have chocolate and wine every now-and-then, but I try and be so strict about what I consume in general: not just food/drinks, but in my LIFE. Take care of yourself and let everything else fade away into the background.

Toodles!

Edit: Also want to mention it helps, during the process, to have people be attracted to you. I've been getting a lot of attention and reassurance (from one person specifically at the moment) and he really helps me feel better about being desired and feeling/being sexy. Self-love, yo. <3
