Hmmm... not nearly what I'd hoped for, or expected, after going hard-core on Phase 1 again. Maybe the next week will bode better for me.

Day 3 of Phase 1 - today is going well, and (knock wood) my headache is gone. I guess I'd forgotten that I was laid low the first time around, so it took me by surprise. Hopefully the weight will come off in the same way it did for me the first time, too. It's amazing how much I want sweets all over again, though. Too bad I couldn't just bypass those cravings! It will be worth everything to get down (finally) to my goal.

Heading back to Phase 1. I've fallen so far off the wagon, I can't even see it up ahead anywhere. Best to begin again, now that I don't have any baking work to do, and the emotional stress of Dad's remarriage is ebbing. Who knew that at my age (37) I could still have Daddy issues?

Small losses, probably because of the amount of stuff I've got going, although being busy hasn't stopped me from feeding my face. It also doesn't help that I'm working with two of the yummiest cake recipes
ever
, as well as regular and chocolate-chambord buttercream icing.
Yeah.
So, I just try really hard to limit what I consume, both the good and the bad, and hope that it all comes out in the wash. We'll see what happens in the next week.
