I am a 56 year old woman who has gone threw menopause and now don't recognise myself. People always assume weight gain is due to junk food and excessive eating and it is not always the case. I had a full right knee replacement last week which means I will finally be able to start rehab and be able to walk down the beach again in a few months. All up I am 34 kgs overweight now and just aiming to get my weight under 70 kgs to maintain my health and not find everything a struggle. I have tried 1200 calories per day but I put weight on at this amount so I have 800 calories with my doctor onboard as well. I fast between 8pm and 1pm each day, so eat a small lunch and normal dinner. Recently had a full health assessment and all my. bloods are. perfect, so. I just. want. to lose the weight to take the. pressure off my body. and feel more myself. My first goal was to lose weight before surgery and my next goal is to get to 79, my husbands weight. Tracking the calories on the app and following others journey is motivating for me.
