Double Diet (for you and your pooch)
My exercise buddy is my 8 yr old golden. I can't put my sneakers on without
her dancing around to go for a walk! She is the best buddy going! There is
a saying that if your dog is fat you aren't getting enough exercise! Smile
Have fun with your cutie!

For Those Who Are Considering Alli
I have been using Alli for two weeks, and nothing major in side effects to report.
You just have to keep your fat intake below 14 grams per meal. If you eat no fat (ie. fat free hot dog) then you don't even take a pill. Victoria is definately right, alot of it is psychological, but I'll tell you what, I am alot more careful about what I put in my mouth then I was when I was just counting points..

If this works I am willing to try it with my continued diet and exercise program to lose the last 19 lbs which have been so hard to lose. I have lost about 4 lbs since I started, nothing major, but my clothes all fit better, and pants I haven't worn in years now fit.

In regards to the cancer issue, what doesn't cause cancer??? Eating beef and pork increases your chances of colon cancer.

Pickled foods, charbroiled meats, artifical colors and sweetners, fried foods and moldy peanuts... http://www.cancerhelp.org.uk/help/default.asp?page=120#foodadd

Ugh I'll take my chances...

I think this works, and I'm willing to give it a try. I feel great! And its been too long coming. If anyone has any questions, let me know, and I am happy to answer them. This is not an endorsement, just my personal opinion.

late night snacking!!!
Here is a couple of my favorites:

Brush your teeth! I hate to eat anything after I have done that.

Chew gum! You are less likely to pop something into your mouth if you have gum in it.

Drink diet tonic with lime! It's like a gin and tonic without the gin Wink

Eat a fat free fudgiscle. My favorite and fat free!! They taste terrific.

Or everytime you head for the kitchen, make yourself do 10 situps first. That will make you think twice!

Hope this helps! Good luck.

Need a fat flush buddy
I have to also say that today is my first day. A few issues so far (and I'm only up to lunch time!!) was what is a quick and easy thing to have for lunch? I settled on salad with a little cut up chicken breast, flax seed oil (not as bad as I thought it would be) and a little balsamic vinegar (not sure that was legal) If any of you "pros" out there have ideas for quick meals, good combinations, please share.
I know that I will also be missing my glass of red wine tonight! Sad I need to lose 30, and share the sentiments with many of you that it becomes an obsession and all you think about is how to get rid of the extra weight. I hope this helps, and maybe we can all support each other! Go Newbies Go!!!
