I started my Journey on March 18, 2010. I got on the scale because I thought that I had gained o few pounds. The scale showed me at 291. I think I cried for 10 minutes, my husband asked me what was wrong with me. I told him I couldn't be like this anymore. So I called my Doctor and asked for help to get on the right path. I started exercise for 30 min a day and increased my exercise every 2 weeks to build up to where i do an hour of cardio and 30 min of weights. I am now at 218 and still need to keep going. My goal is 180, but that may be a little low, so if I can get to 190 ( what I weighed coming out of high school)I think I can handle that. Its been a little hard at times,but with my husbands support and him by my side its been so worth it.

Ready to be thin
hey Bella,
I know how you feel! I am 5'8" and my starting weight in March of 2010 was 291. I am down to 225.I did it by counting calories and cardio and weights everyday! I finally reached my breaking point in march, and that was it got serious and lost 66 pounds so far. My advice is set real goals ones that if you don't reach want devastate you. don't expect to drop tones at a time, and don't look at it as a diet, its a life style change. For me this is what i will do for the rest of my life. Good luck with your journey
