My name is Alicia, I'm 28 years old. I've been married for almost 7 years to a wonderful man. He's in the Marine Corp. We have two little girls. Our oldest is Ava, she's 5. Paislee the second, is 8 months old.
I am breastfeeding Paislee and am struggling getting off the pregnancy weight! It seems like I'm starving all the time. Lately I've been walking/jogging and keeping a food journal to keep myself accountable.
I'm understanding that this is a lifetime change I'm going to make. I use to think of it as a "diet", but now I realize I have to change how I think if I want to successful. I am watching "points" with Weight Watchers.
My husband has been VERY fit since he was young. He runs 6 miles every few days and is the emblem of health for the USMC. Then, there's me! I know my weight has effected our relationship. I don't wear a bathing suit in front of people I know, I'm embarrassed to go to events with him.:( I need to take care of myself, so that I can show my girls how to be healthy!!!
One day at a time is my motto! I'm currently 235 and am aiming for 145.
