Amazing how just one day of being aware of what I am eating makes a difference. Had planned out my day but ended up meeting some girlfriends for dinner. We ordered nachos for the table and I did have some but not a lot and was very concious of how much I was consuming. Got blackened shrimp over salad with goat cheese which I love but did not even touch the goat cheese b/c I figured I had enough cheese from the nachos.
Made it to the gym for 30 minutes. Which was huge for me since I have been MIA from the gym for a quite a few weeks. I just wish I was one of those people that loved to exercise but I am not. I did 10 minutes on 3 machines and that was tolerable and and easy approach. It became a mental game I would say to myself 10 minutes that is all you need to do. Makes the 30 minutes go fast. Between the 30 minutes and the walk home from the gym I burned 200 calories.

WOW - What a binge I have been on. And of course the result is weight gain, poor self esteem and the best of all my pants split at work this morning. Had to run to Ann Taylor and purchase new pants in a bigger size. Had to charge it of course b/c $80 on pants was not part of my budget for today. UGH... no one to blame but myself. Back on track today and will take a pilates class after work and go for a nice long walk.

Went to kickboxing last night but it was not a great workout at all. I was so tired and not into it and the instructor was not the best. I usually burn 300 calories (I wear a HRM) but only burned 100 last night. BUT I did get myself there so that was half the battle. Didn't eat bad yesterday and did not have a 10pm snack like I usually do. My husband poured me a glass of wine and I didn't even finish it.
Not sure when I will be getting back to the gym this week but I am going to work on making it a priority and will make social plans after I have a workout plan set up.
Starting next week my office has cut our hours so I will not be working on Wednesday have already decided I will take a spin class in the morning.
Slowly but surely I will get back into an exercise program.
