Another day sticking with my plan and it feels like another accomplishment. I had a terrible headache all day and when I counted my calories at the end of the day realized I had not eatern enough! Lesson learned . . . listen to your body to tell you if something is wrong.

Tried Tai Chi for the first time yesterday as a form of exercise. It is more challenging than it looks but feels great!

I had a good food weekend. I ate well and resisted many temptations to munch. It is easier not to eat out of boredom when I am at home taking care of a 1 yr old. However, this week at the office will be a test for me. I must remember to bring healthy low-cal snacks and keep to my daily eating plan.
I was pleasantly surprised on Saturday when I discovered a relatively low-cal dessert -- Chocolate covered strawberries! A couple of those are great and my two favorite things combined.
Yoga went well on Friday and I will go to Tai Chi today for my strength exercises.

Yesterday was not a good day. I was tired from lack of sleep and my will power was low. Add to that a great deal of frustration of work and I reach for bad food.
I woke up today, though, and have some new resolve to do better than yesterday (the bar is not too high). Instead of running errands at lunch (which usually leads to bad food choices on the run) I am going to a yoga class. Some mental centering and focus I believe will help. I will then eat the healthy lunch I packed when I get back to the office.
Keeping fingers crossed.
