So, the stress of being furloughed really threw me off for a few weeks. Back to work now and getting back on track. My access to the gym is also restored!

Yesterday i did fairly well with food, even eating out with my little girl. My house guests arrived late last night and immediately proceeded to start eating snacks and having beverages. I politely declined and made myself a cup of herbal tea with a touch of honey. Very proud of myself for turning down all that cheese and crackers and wine.
I'm not sure the workout is goind to happen today. My shin splints are back and are horrendous. No amount of stretching seems to be helping right now. I would like to do a longer run this weekend but that will be out of the question if these shin splints don't go away. I'll keep stretching and hope for the best.
