Hi! My name is Katy. I'm a new mom of 7 months to a wonderful baby boy. He's given me so many great things-the least of which is a body that is still heavier than I'd like! ;-) Pre-pregnancy, I was 143 lbs and gaining, to my heaviest, at due date 214!! I've managed to make it down to 165 (today), but keep going up 10 pounds and then back down to 165. I've struggled with my weight and body image for years...including a 2 year bout with anorexia/bulimia back in high school. This time around, I want to lose the weight in a HEALTHY way that lets me be the BEST mom I can be to my little boy!! My husband is my unofficial partner on this journey (since he gained sympathy pounds right along with me ;-) I turn 30 at the end of October! and want to actually LIKE pictures of me that might be taken! Fingers Crossed!!
