The last 2 weeks, I've majorly upped my intake of fruits and vegetables and am also working on not eating foods that are processed and full of fat and sodium. Feeling a bit more energetic than normal, which is awesome. A woman that I haven't seen for a while that works in the same building as me noticed that I've lost weight, which is fantastic feedback.

A sprained ankle has done me zero favors. Time to play through the pain.

Egad! Gained 25 pounds since last year! Clearly I didn't stay on track. After a month and a half kitchen remodel and taking a week long vacation, I am definitely tired of fast crap food. Went grocery shopping yesterday and stocked up on fresh fruits, fresh veggies, lean meats, and healthy snacks. This journal will currently serve as my indicator as to how my body feels with regards to Rheumatoid Arthritis and the Chronic Fatigue associated with RA. I'm curious if healthy eating will do more for me than just assist in weight loss and take the stress of carrying extra weight off of my damaged joints. Day 1: My feet are swollen and my feet and ankles are sore. Left thumb is slightly tender to the touch. All other joints seem okay today. Energy level is better than usual. Will plan on updating this monthly unless there is significant change in my joints or energy level.
