anybody here with hypothyroid?
Oh, forgot to add. I take BCAA, L-Carnitine and Glutamine twice a week with a protein shake. Also, have started on Tonalin CLA 3x day after meals. I've started seeing more muscle definition since.

anybody here with hypothyroid?
I have hypothyroidism. I was on Armour Thyroid up until a year ago and have been on Synthroid and Cytomel since then. I began working out with a personal trainer in June 2010. My starting weight was 240 and now I'm down to 223. My trainer put me on a diet similar to the Fat Smash Diet which consists of 4 phases. Google fat smash diet and you can see a sample of the meal plans. I have never had an easy time losing weight. I'm attributing my current success to the combination of exercise and diet modification. I've gone from a size 18-20 down to a 12-14. My goal is to be in a size 8-10. My biggest struggle in the diet was the strict reduction in carbs that I was so accustomed to eating. I eat carbs now but they are things like brown rice, oatmeal, sweet potato, fresh vegetables and ezekiel bread. My protein is mainly chicken breast, fish or protein shakes and egg whites. My weekends are designated as cheat days. I usually eat 1 meal of my choice. When Monday rolls around, I'm ready to get back on my meal plan and I don't feel deprived from the foods / drinks that I used to enjoy. My workouts now are in a bootcamp setting 4 days a week. It's what I would call intense because it's constant movement between resistance type exercises to short burts of cardio. I'm definitely hooked and excited about my new body that's emerging as a result.

Looking at what other people eat
My guilty pleasure is Tutti Frutti lowfat frozen yogurt topped with blueberries and walnuts!
