Just took Webmd's personal diet evaluator quiz. According to Webmd I should eat about 1690 calories per day and burn 97 calories a day to lose 1 pound a week. If I can do this I should be down 1 dress size in 3 months. If I can keep my weight loss going I should be at my goal of 145 in 91 weeks. Wow that seems like a long time. I think I am going to focus on the 3 month goal. I have been a size 18 since my 4 year old son was born and I would love to be a 16 again. Maybe I will even be able to wear my wedding ring again. I would love that. So starting today I am changing my daily calorie goal from 1800 that fatsecret suggested to 1690 and see how I do. :)

Day 2 on trying to count calories & I am over again. I did better than yesterday though. Today I ate a little over 2000 calories when I ate well over 3000. Wow that's a lot of calories. So far I have learned that I really am eating way too much. I should be at about 1800 for the day. I knew I was eating too much obviously or I wouldn't be overweight. But I didn't know HOW much more I was eating. So even though I am still eating too much I am learning and that is a really good thing. I am becoming more aware.
