Even though I can honestly say 100 percent because I tracked everything and did not go over, I would like to have said that I was not eating that stupid candy. I stuck it in the freezer and decided to have it again after Thanksgiving and stick to my usual WW Cookies n Cream pop.
I would love to be the one hosting Thanksgiving, since it is my favorite holiday, but we drive upstate. In a way that is good since it means no leftovers to tempt me. I am at a point in my weight loss where it really slows down. The least I have weighed in the past 20 years has been 3 lbs less than I am now. I am determined to get off the rest of the weight this time, even though I am in a normal size, albeit bigger than I would like. So I keep thinking of the health benefits and the need to be active to run around with my 19 month old active grandson who lives with me.
So wish me luck on my very long lifetime journey.

I am not unhappy with this small loss since I had candy everyday since Halloween, except today. Granted, I calculated every piece I put in my mouth, but saved points by not eating other things so I could stay within my WW point daily allotment. It worked. I needed to know that I could go through a Halloween and not feel deprived. I do not eat candy on a regular basis during the year, or dessert for that matter. However, I LOVE chocolate candy, and decided there are a few times a year I want to eat it, Halloween being one of them. So I proved to myself it is possible to do it without ruining my diet, as long as I watch every single thing I eat that day and allow for it. I feel no guilt.
Now that I am in a different location for a few days, with no candy around, I will probably drop more weight. I can really feel and see the weight loss now. When I can vault up the stairs in my primary home, I will know I have lost enough weight.
The important thing is to be on a plan I can stay on throughout my life and not feel deprived because I can never eat a particular food. That was the problem with some other diets. Nutrisystem told you to avoid alcohol. I am not a drinker per se, but like an occasional glass of wine or cocktail. But I count it now. I also had trouble with Atkins, despite a great weight loss. I could not give up those carbs long term. In general, I do opt for the low carb food when offered or when I cook, but I know don't have to. That makes all the difference to me.
