I'm a 34 year old single mother of three. I had always been thin, even after having children, but I also had very active jobs (maintenance, construction, delivering concrete). I have been working office jobs for the past 2 years now and aside from that, found out I have hypothyroidism. In the past 2 years I've gained 60 pounds, 40 of it in the last year alone. These past couple years
I've 'planned on' exercising and dieting...starting Monday!!! I'm finally ready to really do something about it! I became a vegetarian about a month ago and have been doing very well with it, and I've been walking several days a week and going to the gym (inconsistently!) I have lost 3 pounds over the last couple of weeks so I know as long as I stay consistant with diet and exercise, I'll be able to achieve my goal of 160 pounds!

I found this website through an application on my phone and I absolutely love it! It's easy enough and free is always nice:)

Understanding the site
I'm new to Fatsecret.com and so far I love it but I'm not understanding the little green and red arrows!!! Can anyone explain what they mean?

For example: Yesterdays food/excercise diary the numbers were:

Diet:1566 Exercise: 3776 Then a little green arrow pointing down: 2210

I don't know what that means....HELP!!!!!
