You can all call me Kirby. I work in the hospitality industry. I like cooking, camping, hiking, singing and just being a goofball sometimes.... most times. I'm addicted to The Big Bang Theory and the newer Marvel movies. In my adult years, I've turned into somewhat of a blonde geek. I'm horrible at doing hair, make-up, or basically anything cosmetic that I'm supposed to know how to do. If I'm lucky, someday when I have kids they'll all be boys and I won't need to teach them any of that!

In high school I used to run 5 miles everyday, had no problem eating healthy and was running around with friends most of the time.

Now, I never work out, I CRAVE junk food, and by the time I'm done working and standing on my feet for 8 hours, I just want to go home and be lazy.

I'm tired of looking in the mirror and hating what I see, I'm tired of having to get new clothes because my old ones are a bit snug and unflattering. I'm tired of complaing.

I'm hoping everyone on here can help to keep me accountable for trying to stay active and eating right.

Pre-celebration extreme diet
The app tells me to eat 1700 a day. After work I really don't have time or motivation to work out. Another site recommended to lose weight FAST that I only eat 1100 calories a day. I'm doing my grocery shopping tomorrow and from that point I will be following a different meal plan;

Breakfast smoothie: 1 mango, 1/2 cup pineapple, 1 banana. Add some pineapple juice or ice cubes if desired.

Salads with little or no dressing for lunch and dinner.

And LOTS of water.

I only want to follow this plan for the weeks leading up to Christmas then I will allow myself more per day after doing my post-Christmas cleanse.

counting calores
When you go into your food log and search a food, it will have the calories there for you. All you need to do is add it to your food log.

I also use the Mobile App called Calorie Counter by FatSecret. With the app you can also scan the barcode on your food wrapper and add it to your log that way.

The Advocare Cleanse
So I'm trying to decide now, Advocare has a 10 day cleanse that one of my co-workers swears by. My dilemma, the earliest I may be able to start it is 12/8/15. I'm wondering if I should start this cleanse as soon as possible and finish before Christmas and all the junk food that it brings, or if I should start the cleanse after Christmas when I won't have anything to worry about until the Valentines chocolates come around.

Thoughts anyone?
