Mostly ready for my trip. Have all my clothes packed up, except my running shoes and will pack those tonight. Then I just have to pack my toiletries. Got vitamins all set. Got things like my coconut oil (individual packets), collagen, coconut butter..all that ready to pack into the bag I am checking. I have some snacks ready to take on the plane...couple of tea bags, couple slices of pre-cooked bacon, individual serving sizes of almonds. Everything that I need to stay on track while traveling! I have a plane stopover in Boise, but no plane change, and then in Denver I have a few hours layover. I plan on buying a steak salad at the Modern Market and that will be dinner. The rest of my plan is to have my SIL stop so I can pick up a salad to take to work for lunch Thursday. I have already seen the breakfast for Friday (Chick-fil-A) so I will likely eat a piece of chicken and have my hot tea that I am bringing with some coconut oil. Not sure what lunches will bring. Friday night is a baseball game and I can always have a bunless burger or hotdog so no problem there. Saturday morning they are having bagels and cream cheese. Soooo hot tea and coconut oil...no biggie. Walking tomorrow. Thursday night gym time. Friday AM -gym time. Saturday afternoon gym time and family time. Sunday AM gym time and then family time. Monday and Tuesday I know likely will not happen as I will be working and then need to see my family. Wednesday I will get to the gym early before I need to crash from my travel day.

Good morning FS warriors! Thank you for the support on my last journal entry. The frustration level has been a bit high. DH and I did go to the grocery store this weekend and he bought some meals and such to prepare while I am gone. Also, talked about his lunches and what he could have. It was funny to have him looking at carbs/sugars and then serving sizes at the grocery store. Illuminating for him, and entertaining for me....LOL.

Yesterday I woke up with an upset/achy stomach. Not sure what the deal is, but riding in the truck and a bounce hurt. Straining to go...tenderness in my gut. Laying on my side...tenderness. I do not have a fever so not sure what the deal is. Did I have too much dairy on Saturday? I do not have a fever so it is not stomach flu. Today is a little bit better, but laying on my side (at 4:30am) was not comfortable and very tender. As I said today seems to be an improvement, but still not 100%. There is a lot of rumbling and grumbling going on in my stomach.
I have got to get this resolved before Wednesday AM when I have to catch my flight.

The scale ticked down a little bit and I am a little bit closer to Onederland. Today I will start packing my bag and I will be able to pack some slacks that I haven't been able to wear in forever.

I wonder if part of the stomach upset is anxiety. As I had mentioned it is the first time going back without my sweet Mama being there. That is causing some anxiety for me. I try not to think on it too much because then it makes me cry.

Good morning FS Warriors! I hope everyone is doing well, we made it to Friday. Yesterday was one of those days...I was tired from the long day before (we had maintenance night and I didn't get home until 9pm). Yesterday, I wanted to do nothing after work. At first that is pretty much what happened, but the further the afternoon went I knew I had to get on the treadmill; at least get in a quick run. I was only cheating myself by not getting in my exercise, and of course I felt better afterward.
This weekend will be spent with me getting ready to travel out of town for a week. So getting my clothes together for work and for gym and then all other necessities. It is usually a pretty big bag that I check when traveling back home for a week. I will pack my collagen and vitamins and single packets of coconut oil and my tea.
I was happy to see more movement in the right direction this morning, and I have a plan while out of town. Wednesday I will get all my walking in through the airports. Thursday night I can go to gym. Friday and Saturday morning I will go to the gym before our meetings start. Sunday I will go to the gym. Monday and Tuesday I realize that I may not get to go due to the long commute drive to the office and then seeing family afterward. Wednesday I will get my walking in at the airport.
DH is hanging in there. He did ask me if his employee emailed me. I told him she did and I thanked her but it was really stuff that I had seen and he would have to watch himself. (Her husband is much more on board with the healthy plans). He looked at me, and I was like here is the thing...you aren't going to stop eating cheese (like she suggested) and he says "Oh heck no" and I said the other thing is intermittent fasting (and he says, "Oh I am not fasting"). I explained it to him some and left it at that. I said I thanked her for caring and sharing but I do not need to see those; you need to watch them for yourself and draw your own conclusion. His BS has been good with the metformin cut in half and eating better he is seeing the positive impact it has on how he feels. Hopefully, he will keep that in mind. He knows he will be winging it while I am gone and is planning a trip to Trader Joe's this weekend so we can make sure he is stocked up on the things he will need for lunch and dinner.

Other than that not a lot going on. I hope everyone has a great weekend! Remember to be kind to yourselves.
