Howdy! I am back after a long time away. I had WLS in May 2010 and have been extremely happy with the results and recently have gotten lazy (again). I am going to lose the 'last 15 pounds' for the last time and never find them again. I am grateful to have my sleeve, it is a great tool and I need to follow the healthy lifestyle that I know is right for me. I did not weigh this morning (1-12-15) because that tends to depress me and keep me from making the change first thing in the morning so I will weigh tomorrow morning and record. I really like this website, it helped tremendously right after my surgery and it keeps me accountable.

130 - Pedicure (met 2-05-15)
125 - New pair of shoes or maybe a glass of wine...
120 - James Avery Charm or maybe a glass of wine...
115 - Shopping at NM, new jeans, new swimsuit AND a GLASS of WINE

I hope to meet some like-minded folks here and wish everyone well! My method of weight loss/maintenance is high protein/low fat/low carbs and lots of water. I am going to try to work in some exercise, baby steps...

Disappointed about yesterday
Yes, we get to start fresh every day, that is a great thing! Life happens, work happens. Sounds like you are focused just overcome by schedules, I get it! Onward and upward!

Hello y'all!
Hi Star, I had WLS in 2010 and I continue to yoyo with the last 15 pounds. Woke up this morning and decided I have had enough of it. I am sick of my clothes fitting tight (my answer is NEVER to buy new clothes, I worked hard to get to a healthy weight and have tons of great clothes in my closet) and ready to feel good in my clothes again. I am looking to lose 15-20 pounds and keep my weight within a few pounds consistently. The best way for me to lose is truly sticking to high protein, low fat and close to NO carbs. Plus getting my water in. The pounds really do melt away and exercise is not really required to lose the weight, I need the exercise more for toning. Yep, I am done with the up and down.

How are you doing with losing the last 15 with the Atkins plan? I do not even want to do that with the high fat, again, my best plan is the one I was put on right after surgery, 70 grams of protein a day and lots of liquids.
