Today I woke up earlier than usual and went to the gym. I used the stair climber for 15 minutes and the bike for 10.
Afterward, I had a nice healthy low-carb breakfast. An egg white omelet with mushrooms, tomatoes, jalapenos, and spinach, and a serving of plain yogurt w/ pineapple and granola.
Tomorrow is my first personal training appt. I am meeting with a girl bright and early in the morning to discuss my fitness goals. I'm a little nervous, but I'm also excited to get my butt kicked!

Today was not a good day for dieting. I ate three cookies, a high carb breakfast, and had my usual blt for dinner.
Weight does not mean much to me... I am at a healthy weight. I am not happy with my body fat percentage at the moment. I do not work out very much and eat a large amount of carbs and fat. Serious revamping of my calorie intake needs to take place!!!

I have been reducing the amount of carbs that I eat by changing what I normally have for breakfast (cereal with fruit and flax seed) and replacing it with something that is lower in carbs and higher in protein. Non-fat plain yogurt with fruit and egg whites with veggies have been my new breakfast-of-choice.
I have also been eating less Erin's Baker Cookies (I used to have one a day!) and reducing my latte intake. I'm trying to be mindful of how many carbs and fat calories are in just a small amount of chocolate. It is disturbing.
