back at the gym! I did cardio and Bodyflow last night and Bodyflow again this morning. SO MANY people are commenting about how I look like I have lost weight and how noticeable it is =) SWEET! I plan to go to the gym everyday for the next week and half as I have a wedding to go to! My bestfriend is coming to visit next week and she has a Goodlife membership too so we are going to go to the gym together and try some new classes together.

I went up a pound. ARGGGH.. but I was really sick and not going to the gym... excuses excuses! LOL. I am feeling better and going to start going back to the gym. I tried on some smaller clothes that I had in my closet and they fit- yay. that made me feel good. And I can *ALMOST* get my ruffly pink flowery party dress zipped up. I highlighted my hair today and have a bit of a tan... I feel much more alive and vibrant. like winter sucked the life out of me and now I am re-energized and alive again. I have been gardening like crazy... it is so much fun.. It is my very first yard:) and gardening is very good excercise!!! It is nice to get some fresh air and sunshine.

I am down 16 lbs since March 1st- YIPPEE! I am 5lbs away from being in the 160's- it is soooo close. I've been this close before and ended up going back up in weight. Those days are so over ;) I haven't weighed in the 160's since I lived in Toronto while at University.... probably 8-10 years. I feel euphoricly happy even though I am still crazy sick... I can't wait to feel well enough to go back to the gym... hopefully soon :) 5 pounds, 5 pounds, 5 pounds... I *should* be able to wear the dress with another 5 lbs gone. I have 3 weeks to get into that dress and I WILL.

I've been getting sicker.... feels like pneumonia, last night I woke up at 3am with chest pains that lasted HOURS (from coughing I think)... so no gym for me. I am drinking a ton of water with lemon... and trying to eat very healthy which has been going well... I have no real desire to eat so I *MUST* be sick! If the pain in my chest comes back I am going to the ER. Otherwise I am just taking it easy.... In spite of being sick I am pleased with being back on track with my weightloss and eating. I have been reading "Skinny Bitch" and it is very interesting... makes you really think about what you are eating. I recommend it. Easy to read, but do NOT buy it if you are easily offended by swearing :)

I finally got back on track going to the gym, feeling good, and then BAM yesterday morning I woke up feeling HORRIBLE- sore throat, coughing- UGH. Not happy about this. It is like whatever I was fighting a couple of weeks ago has come back with a vengence!
I NEED to excercise so that I can fit into that dress... I think I will watch what I am eating BIG TIME to make up for not going to the gym... will try and eat tons of fruit and veg. at least then I will still be working towards my goal even if I cannot excercise. I didn't eat very well yesterday and it depressed me... so today is a new day...
