at 199 lbs my basic metabolic rate is 1812 calories. If I live a sedentary lifestyle I could consume 2062 calories.with light activity I could consume 2362 calories and still loose weight.With moderate exercise I could consume 2663 calories, with being very active I could consume 2964 calories. my total If I set my new goal weight at 185 lbs. and have a calorie intake of 2000 per day,and stay lightly active I should loose 1.2 lbs per week and reach my new goal by 4/15/2010...tax day.try to google your bmr.
