Mowed the lawn today! Seriously, a day off and I mowed the yard in the Houston heat. It's crazy here. When will fall come?

The key is to make it simple enough that you don't have an excuse not to do it. I checked with a trainer friend. To minimize knee pain while doing lunges, keep your step out in line with your hip and your shoulder. Larger persons may find that the weight causes knee strain. If so, take a shorter step out and don't dip as low. Contrastingly, if the lunges are easy, do a few more or add a hop between each lunge.

I did the Baby Steps challenge today! Feels good to get started early! It inspired me to take the stairs a couple of times at work today when the elevator was right there...hhhmmm I feel inspiration for next weeks baby step challenge...we'll see.
