A new low..... from 38 years!I have never been this close to a goal weight... EVER! Oh, to be 60 years old, feeling terrific and strong, and to be so near a goal weight.
Ideal Protein is strict, but if you follow the plan 100%, it works! Really! The protocol is simple, straightforward and requires 100% committment. It works.

I have reset my goal weight downward to 131. As a result of my terrific success with Ideal Protein, my goal with IP is to reach a fat percentage of 28%. As I move down the scale, my weight goal shifts slightly, therefore, I'm selecting a new goal weight of 131. When I began this journey 2 years ago, I started at 240.5 lbs. For a little woman of 4 feet, 10 inches, that was just a lot of weight to carry around. I originally lost 50 pounds by calorie counting and using portion control through Nutrisystem ( a great starting point!). This effort took 1.5 years. In July 2014, I moved to Ideal Protein at the suggestion of one of my trusted doctors. It has been a TREMENDOUS SUCCESS! I have lost an additional 53 pounds in less than 6 months. What a joy to have reached such a level of success! My BMI has moved from 50, to 28.9 so far. Not too shabby. By the way, my clothing sizes are gone from 22 to 7-8, so far. What a joy to go clothes shopping now! I have the pleasure of looking at size Medium in any department, instead of heading over to the Woman's sizes. All of this and I celebrated my 60th birthday. By the way, for my birthday, I served cupcakes to the grandkids and didn't have birthday cake or cupcake myself. What my plan is, is to reach my new goal, enter maintenance and to enjoy birthday cake for my 61st birthday. What a long journal post!

Short week, due to changing regular weigh-ins from Fridays to Tuesdays.
Turned 60 over the weekend with cupcakes for the kids & grandkids. I stayed on track!
