I'm a 47 year-old woman, happily married to my health inspiration, Mr. Goddess, for 4 years. I've released 94 lbs. forever to the Universe using Medifast, and I'm now exploring low-carb to finish the job. I started exercising about 4 months ago, and I'm now in the Lean phase of Chalean Extreme.

I love Chalean Extreme (Beachbody) and I think it would be ideal since you start with the weight that's challenging for you, and then increase from there. She definitely encourages heavy weights, but you go by how much you can lift and fail at 12 reps (or 8 in the 2nd month) and then progress from there.

Although I waited until I had lost 80lbs. to start, looking back I could have started anytime and it might have helped me lose faster/better.
