Hmm had a super busy weekend and just didn't get around to logging food/exercise/etc. But I'm back on the wagon, somewhat. Good news is that even while retaining water like I do this time every month, I still managed to drop one pound from my last weigh in! Awesome :)

Oh man, what a weekend! So my weight didn't go down since last week, but at least it stayed the same. I was worried it would increase because of the awesomeness that was this past weekend. It was a friend's birthday, so we went all out to make it a ton of fun. Ended up drinking a lot of alcohol (yay white wine), eating indulgent foods (yay cheesecake and charcuterie), and staying out late. Surprisingly, I managed to stay pretty close to my RDI, though I didn't get in the exercise I wanted this weekend. Oh well - back on the wagon again :)

I briefly saw 165 on the scale yesterday! It was after spin class and right before I ate dinner, so of course after dinner it was higher, but it gives me hope that I'm only another spin class or two away :) That is very exciting! I can't wait until I can officially record 165 as a weigh in!

I'm fighting a losing battle with willpower right now. I have a delicious creamy herbed goat cheese in the fridge and all I want to do is go grab it and spread it on some crackers and eat it.
But I'm trying to cut back on the amount of cheese I eat (it's my super-weak spot), on the amount of sodium I eat, and also on snacking between meals.
So on one hand, I'm trying to resist eating it. On the other hand, I'm trying to convince myself it's ok, because I'm still pretty far below my RDI for the day, and I should eat something if I'm hungry before my spin class in 2 hours.
Ahhhh I don't know what to do :(

My arms are so sore today from the fit test for the May bodrock challenge! On the bright side, the exercises in the test helped me to fit in my workout for a few of the challenges I'm in.
I've gotten smarter about my workouts too. I want to fit in more spin classes than the 2 evening classes offered (7pm-ish), but the only other classes I could make during the week are at 5:30. It's tough to leave my job at 5pm and make it on time - I normally get to the spin room with less than 10 minutes to spare. So I packed up my workout clothes this morning (damn, I just realized I forgot my sneakers, good thing my apt is on the way to the gym) so I can make it on time.
Also I went over my calories yesterday, but have a feeling I'll be under today. Something I ate yesterday isn't sitting right so putting more food in my uneasy stomach is not something I feel like doing right now.
