Keto Dieters, any out there?
WAY TO GO ELLEHUNY... keep kicking that cancer's rear...
I put myself on the Keto and Intermittent Fast track... working wonders.

my story is that I let myself go... didn't care about my body at all until recently, chest pains, arm numbness and dizzy spells. Well, went to the Dr who is also a friend, and basically said you are going to have a heart attack SOON... unless.. so after blood tests, my AC1s were off the charts, TriGs were way way way high, and my LDLs was huge... and I am now clinically a diabetic. So, my friend / Dr said, I am putting you in a regiment of cholesterol meds and blood pressure meds as a requirement, but you have a choice... either loose the weight and control your insulin, or I am going to put you on insulin.

Easy choice... he introduced me to a book called "The Complete Guide to Fasting: Heal Your Body Through Intermittent, Alternate-Day, and Extended" by Dr Jason Fung. (Link below)

Just one month of easing into Intermittent Fasting and whole day fasting, plus eating Keto friendly whole / unprocessed foods with macros of 65% fats / 30% protein / 5% carbs, I am doing great... have lost 20 pounds this first month... feeling good, no more dizzy spells, no chest pains.... AND more energy.

Keep it up... it is easy... ease into it, make it a lifestyle, and yes know you will find hunger pangs, but there are foods to help with that... so you dont loose focus... (bullet proof coffee recipes / Fat Bombs & LOTS of Water).

Good luck... you can do this, because you are a fighter and you have proven that.. you got this...

I put myself of a Keto diet, after gaining weight after breast cancer... I gained 40 pounds after diagnoses within 18 months. I was so depressed, and I just worked, ate, and went to my room at home. I have had 6 surgeries in 2 years, and I have more to go... I started exercising again, and want to build muscle, but I have to be careful for now (2 surgeries in the past 60 days)

Finally I decided that enough was enough, and inspired by my Daughter's weight loss, I am on the Keto Diet.
First my daughter Sarah told me is to find a Keto Calculator online and figure out what my targets are... so now I have a daily goal to meet. Honestly I thought the diet would be harder, but so far it is reasonably easy to follow (although I really miss getting fruit at the Latino fruit carts with chili and lime...mmmmmmmmm)

I find that keeping track of what I eat is the best way to weight loss.

If there are any other Keto dieters out there it would be a nice community to start and maybe even have some challenges.
