Yesterday went a lot better, but I did not eat hardly enough. I got in my required water intake, which is half my body weight in oz. of water, but I did not get in my minimum required protein intake.
Today I am on track to get all of my minimum requirements, and even have a little bit of wiggle room with the carbohydrates. But I might just keep the carb count as low as possible. My body is very stubborn when it comes to inducing ketosis. I am going to work harder on eating healthy fats like avocados and nuts instead of bad fats that come with fried foods and such.
Although tomorrow I am supposed to add carbohydrates to my lunch, I'm going to be very picky about what kind of carbs. Perhaps tonight I will prep a quinoa dish for lunch so I get good carbs. Maybe that will help push the fat burning better than eating bread/ a sandwich.
The first two to three weeks were a huge learning curve. Although I feel like I am starting over, it's for the best! I'm very excited for what's to come.

I felt the need to remind myself of how far I've come in the past year. 20 lbs ago I was drinking alcohol almost every day, and living a very unhealthy lifestyle. Fastforward to today, I only drink during special occasions, and have changed a lot of my eating habits. I still struggle with overeating and food addiction, but it's gotten a lot better. If I lost 20 lbs before, I can do it again! 150lbs, here I come!

I'm on a cycle diet, which is somewhat of a LCHF spin-off. The goal is to eat 50% of my weight in g of protein and drink 50% of my weight in water, all the while eating less than 30 g carbohydrates. Every other day I am to eat a well-rounded meal that contains between 50-65 g carbohydrates, and still consume the same amount in protein and water.
I need to stop weighing myself every day.
It's been two weeks, and while others are getting incredible results I am fluctuating like crazy.
I had sugar two nights ago and that is what I blame for the weight spike. I have also been neglecting to drink the proper amount of water due to coffee consumption in the morning.
New rule: drink two bottles of water before drinking coffee. For every cup of coffee, drink one bottle of water. Also, no unnatural sugar.
